The Badgers now sport a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to San Angelo Texas Leadership Charter Academy for a 3A Region I District 6 battle on Tuesday, December 12. Merkel will battle a Eagles team coming off a 54-22 non-league loss to Blackwell (Blackwell, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 0-5.
The Cubs (1-12) will now prepare for their battle against Sweetwater (Sweetwater, TX). The Mustangs come into the non-league battle with a 9-7 record. In their last battle, Sweetwater trounced Nueces Canyon (Barksdale, TX), 44-20, in a non-league battle.
