Oregon High School Basketball - South Albany holds off North Eugene
December 8, 2023: Eugene, OR 97404 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the South Albany Redhawks (Albany, OR) and the host North Eugene Highlanders (Eugene, OR), saw South Albany's basketball squad hold off North Eugene by a tally of 57-54.
With the victory, South Albany improves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Redhawks host Crescent Valley (Corvallis, OR) to confront the Raiders in a 5A Mid-Willamette challenge on Tuesday, December 12. The Raiders come into the challenge with a record of 0-2. Crescent Valley lost 66-29 in their recent non-league challenge against Crater (Central Point, OR)
Next up, the Highlanders confront the Reynolds Raiders (Troutdale, OR) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 12. North Eugene will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record.
