Texas High School Basketball - Tioga crushes Prairie Valley
December 8, 2023: Nocona, TX 76255 Tioga Bulldogs (Tioga, TX) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Prairie Valley Bulldogs (Nocona, TX), 89-27 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Tioga upgrades its record to 9-3 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Alvord (Alvord, TX) to play the Bulldogs in a 2A Region II District 13 bout on Tuesday, December 12. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 3-4. Alvord won 64-9 in their recent non-league bout against Bob Hope (Port Arthur, TX)
Next up, the Bulldogs play the Forestburg Longhorns (Forestburg, TX) in a 1A Region III District 22 bout, on Tuesday, December 12. Prairie Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 4-8 season record. The Longhorns come into the bout with a 9-4 record after their 37-21 non-league loss to Healdton (Healdton, OK).
