Texas High School Basketball - Savio knocked off by Sanger
December 8, 2023: Sanger, TX 76266 The Sanger Indians basketball team scored 38 points and held the visiting Savio Eagles to 20 in the Indians non-league triumph on Friday.
The Indians now sport a 8-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gatesville for a non-league contest on Friday, December 8. Sanger will meet a Hornets team coming off a 64-45 non-league loss to Jarrell (Jarrell, TX). The Hornets record now stands at 6-6.
The Eagles (9-5) will now prepare for their contest against Thrall (Thrall, TX). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 5-5 record. In their last contest, Thrall was outscored by Sanger (Sanger, TX), 30-26, in a non-league contest.
