New York High School Basketball - Nichols nips Aquinas Institute
December 8, 2023: Buffalo, NY 14216 Nichols Vikings (Buffalo, NY) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Aquinas Institute Little Irish (Rochester, NY), 56-55 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Nichols upgrades its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Vikings host City Honors (Buffalo, NY) to play the Centaurs in a non-league bout on Monday, December 11. The Centaurs come into the bout with a record of 0-0.
Next up, the Little Irish play the University Prep Charter Gator (Bronx, NY) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 12. Aquinas Institute will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record.
