December 8, 2023: Chicago, IL 60616 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the De La Salle Meteors (Chicago, IL) and the visiting Chicago Mt. Carmel Caravan (Chicago, IL), saw De La Salle's basketball squad hold off Chicago Mt. Carmel by a count of 48-44.
With the victory, De La Salle upgrades its record to 4-3 on the campaign. The Meteors host Riverside-Brookfield (Riverside, IL) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 9. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 0-1. Riverside-Brookfield lost 38-33 in their recent non-league challenge against Saint Ignatius College Prep (Chicago, IL)
Next up, the Caravan play the Ogden International (Chicago, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 3. Chicago Mt. Carmel will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record.
