Lake Marion Gators (Santee, SC) boosters left the game satisfied Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Timberland Wolves (St. Stephen, SC), 63-53 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Lake Marion upgrades its record to 3-2 on the year. The Gators host Cross (Cross, SC) to face the Trojans in a non-league match on Friday, December 12. The Trojans enter the match with a record of 1-0. Cross won 48-39 in their recent non-league match against Timberland (St. Stephen, SC)

The Wolves now sport a 0-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Stratford for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 10. Timberland will confront a Knights team coming off a 57-43 non-league loss to Summerville (Summerville, SC). The Knights record now stands at 4-2.
