Marana Tigers (Tucson, AZ) backers went home thrilled Monday as they saw their basketball team thwart the host Mountain View Mountain Lions (Tucson, AZ), 51-37 in a non-league contest.

The Tigers (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Maricopa (Maricopa, AZ). The Rams go into the non-league contest with a 3-4 record. In their last contest, Maricopa was topped by Cienega (Vail, AZ), 82-53, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Mountain Lions battle the Cienega Bobcats (Vail, AZ) in a non-league contest, on Friday, December 12. Mountain View will attempt to better on its 4-3 season record. The Bobcats enter the match with a 5-2 record after their 82-53 non-league win over Maricopa (Maricopa, AZ).
