Point Loma Pointers (San Diego, CA) backers were thrilled Monday as they saw their basketball team topple the visiting Montgomery Aztecs (San Diego, CA), 56-41 in a non-league game.

The Pointers now have a 3-2 record. They play next when they travel to Army-Navy for a non-league game on Tuesday, December 9. Point Loma will confront a Warriors team coming off a 56-41 non-league win over San Dieguito Academy (Encinitas, CA). The Warriors record now stands at 4-2.

With the loss, Montgomery falls to 4-4 on the campaign. The Aztecs travel to San Dieguito Academy (Encinitas, CA) to confront the Mustangs in a non-league outing on Tuesday, December 9.
