West Mecklenburg Hawks (Charlotte, NC) supporters left the game happy Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Stuart W. Cramer Storm (Belmont, NC), 74-34 in a non-league match.

With the victory, West Mecklenburg advances its record to 3-3 on the year. The Hawks host Monroe (Monroe, NC) to face the Redhawks in a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 9. The Redhawks go into the contest with a record of 1-1. Monroe won 56-54 in their recent non-league contest against Central (Pageland, SC)

In their next game, the Storm battle the West Lincoln Rebels (Lincolnton, NC) in a Southern Piedmont 2A/3A/4A match, on Tuesday, December 9. Stuart W. Cramer will attempt to advance on its 2-3 season record. The Rebels enter the match with a 1-5 record after their 81-39 league loss to Bessemer City (Bessemer City, NC).
