The Brady Eagles defeated the visiting Sutherland Sailors basketball squad by a final score of 54-38 in Monday's league outing.

Next, the Eagles clash with the Paxton Tigers (Paxton, NE) in a non-league outing, on Friday, December 12. Brady will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 2-0 record after their 69-21 non-league win over Medicine Valley (Curtis, NE).

With the loss, Sutherland falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Sailors travel to South Platte (Big Springs, NE) to play the Blue Knights in a D1 District 11 bout on Saturday, December 13.
