December 8, 2025: Chicago, IL 60634 Von Steuben Panthers (Chicago, IL) boosters left the game satisfied Monday as they witnessed their basketball team smash the host Steinmetz College Prep Silver Streaks (Chicago, IL), 51-1 in a league contest.
The Panthers (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against Zion-Benton (Zion, IL). The Zee-Bees go into the non-league contest with a 1-5 record. In their last contest, Zion-Benton was trounced by Waukegan (Waukegan, IL), 74-22, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Silver Streaks confront the Chicago Academy Cougars (Chicago, IL) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, December 10. Steinmetz College Prep will attempt to better on its 0-3 season record. The Cougars go into the contest with a 0-6 record after their 31-27 league loss to Senn (Chicago, IL).
