The Center Roughriders (Center, TX) basketball nipped the host Calvert Trojans (Calvert, TX), 59-55 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Roughriders (6-4) will now prepare for their test against Lindale (Lindale, TX). The Eagles go into the non-league test with a 7-3 record. In their last test, Lindale got by Hamshire-Fannett (Hamshire, TX), 35-34, in a non-league test.
