The Cooper Jaguars basketball team scored 69 points and held the visiting Walton-Verona Bearcats to 56 in the Jaguars non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Jaguars now sport a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ryle for a District 33 contest on Tuesday, December 14. Cooper will battle a Raiders team coming off a 1-0 non-league win over Robertson County (Mt. Olivet, KY). The Raiders record now stands at 4-2.

The Bearcats (4-1) will now prepare for their contest against North Oldham (Goshen, KY). The Mustangs enter the non-league contest with a 4-1 record.
