Minnesota High School Basketball - Montevideo tops MACCRAY
December 9, 2021: Montevideo, MN 56265 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Montevideo Thunderhawks (Montevideo, MN) and the visiting MACCRAY Wolverines (Clara City, MN), saw Montevideo's basketball squad knock off MACCRAY by a count of 74-62.
With the victory, Montevideo upgrades its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Thunderhawks host Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta (Morris, MN) to play the Tigers in a AA Section 3 challenge on Thursday, January 13. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 5-0.
Next up, the Wolverines play the Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg Fighting Saints (Kerkhoven, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 10. MACCRAY will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Fighting Saints come into the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 63-52 non-league win over Canby (Canby, MN).
