The Sierra Grande Panthers basketball team scored 53 points and restricted the visiting Primero Bulldogs to 39 in the Panthers non-league victory on Thursday.

The Panthers now sport a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hoehne for a non-league contest on Friday, December 10. Sierra Grande will battle a Farmers team coming off a 59-58 non-league loss to La Veta (La Veta, CO). The Farmers record now stands at 1-3.

The Bulldogs (0-4) will now prepare for their contest against Cotopaxi (Cotopaxi, CO). The Pirates come into the non-league contest with a 3-0 record. In their last contest, Cotopaxi prevailed over Crested Butte (Crested Butte, CO), 50-47, in a non-league contest.
