Illinois High School Basketball - Argo nudges Hillcrest

December 9, 2021: Summit, IL 60501

Argo Argonauts (Summit, IL) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Hillcrest Hawks (Country Club Hills, IL), 65-60 in a league bout.

With the win, Argo upgrades its record to 5-4 on the season. The Argonauts travel to Bremen (Midlothian, IL) to clash with the Braves in a South Suburban - Blue bout on Tuesday, January 4. The Braves go into the bout with a record of 3-7.

Next up, the Hawks clash with the Providence Catholic Celtics (New Lenox, IL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 11. Hillcrest will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record. The Celtics go into the bout with a 9-0 record after their 65-47 league win over St. Laurence (Burbank, IL).
