The Lovejoy Leopards basketball team scored 56 points and restricted the visiting Carthage Bulldogs to 35 in the Leopards non-league victory on Thursday.

The Leopards now sport a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Palestine for a non-league contest on Friday, December 10. Lovejoy will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 58-37 non-league win over Texas (Texarkana, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 17-2.

The Bulldogs (2-8) will now prepare for their contest against Van (Van, TX). The Vandals come into the non-league contest with a 9-2 record. In their last contest, Van was routed by Bullard (Bullard, TX), 50-42, in a non-league contest.
