The McGehee Hawks basketball team scored 44 points and held the visiting Christ Episcopal School Wildcats to 16 in the Hawks non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Hawks now sport a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Newman for a 2A District 11 contest on Tuesday, January 18.

The Wildcats (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Houma Christian (Houma, LA). The Warriors enter the non-league contest with a 1-1 record.
