The Corning Cardinals basketball team scored 51 points and held the host Shasta Wolves to 45 in the Cardinals non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Cardinals now sport a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Durham for a non-league contest on Friday, December 10. Corning will battle a Trojans team coming off a 63-30 league win over Paradise (Paradise, CA). The Trojans record now stands at 7-1.

The Wolves (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against Willows (Willows, CA). The Honkers enter the non-league contest with a 4-3 record. In their last contest, Willows nudged Anderson (Anderson, CA), 44-41, in a non-league contest.
