Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Kingston Cardinals (Kingston, MI) and the visiting Akron-Fairgrove Vikings (Fairgrove, MI), saw Kingston's basketball squad wallop Akron-Fairgrove by a count of 59-18.

With the victory, Kingston upgrades its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Brown City (Brown City, MI) to play the Green Devils in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 13. The Green Devils come into the challenge with a record of 0-2. Brown City lost 64-61 in their recent non-league challenge against Laker (Pigeon, MI)

Next up, the Vikings play the Mayville Wildcats (Mayville, MI) in a North Central Thumb challenge, on Tuesday, December 13. Akron-Fairgrove will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record.
