Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Berks Catholic nudges Allentown Central Catholic
December 9, 2022: Reading, PA 19611 Berks Catholic Saints (Reading, PA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Allentown Central Catholic Vikings (Allentown, PA), 47-40 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Berks Catholic upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Saints host Cedar Crest (Lebanon, PA) to clash with the Falcons in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 10. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 2-1. Cedar Crest lost 62-42 in their recent non-league bout against Exeter Township (Reading, PA)
Next up, the Vikings clash with the Northampton Konkrete Kids (Northampton, PA) in a Lehigh Valley bout, on Tuesday, December 13. Allentown Central Catholic will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Konkrete Kids go into the bout with a 2-1 record after their 46-39 non-league loss to Bangor (Bangor, PA).
