Lincoln Northeast Rockets (Lincoln, NE) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Buena Vista (Omaha, NE), 96-24 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Lincoln Northeast upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Rockets travel to Westview (Omaha, NE) to play the in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 10. The go into the bout with a record of 2-2. Westview won 74-44 in their recent non-league bout against Fremont (Fremont, NE)

Next up, the play the Columbus Discoverers (Columbus, NE) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 10. Buena Vista will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Discoverers go into the bout with a 1-2 record after their 73-31 league loss to Lincoln East (Lincoln, NE).
