Russell County Warriors (Seale, AL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Bullock County Hornets (Union Springs, AL), 64-50 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Russell County upgrades its record to 6-2 on the season. The Warriors host Eufaula (Eufaula, AL) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 13. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 2-4. Eufaula won 56-50 in their recent non-league bout against Barbour County (Clayton, AL)

Next up, the Hornets play the Notasulga Blue Devils (Notasulga, AL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 13. Bullock County will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a 5-4 record after their 78-55 non-league loss to LaFayette (LaFayette, AL).
