Corry Beavers (Corry, PA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Cambridge Springs Devils (Cambridge Springs, PA), 61-58 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Corry upgrades its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Beavers host Oil City (Oil City, PA) to play the Oilers in a District 10 Region 5 bout on Friday, January 20. The Oilers come into the bout with a record of 3-1.

Next up, the Devils play the Brookville Raiders (Brookville, PA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 13. Cambridge Springs will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Raiders come into the bout with a 2-1 record after their 66-60 non-league win over Oil City (Oil City, PA).
