In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Cardinal Gibbons Crusaders basketball team scored a tight 63-62 triumph over the Southeast Raleigh Bulldogs.

In their next game, the Crusaders face the Pinecrest Patriots (Southern Pines, NC) in a non-league match, on Friday, December 16. Cardinal Gibbons will attempt to move on its 2-4 season record.

With the defeat, Southeast Raleigh moves to 1-5 on the year. The Bulldogs host Cleveland (Clayton, NC) to face the Rams in a 4A Conference 26 match on Tuesday, December 13.
