Alabama High School Basketball - Oxford can't hold off Carrollton
December 9, 2022: Oxford, AL 36203 The Carrollton Trojans basketball team scored 48 points and restricted the host Oxford Yellow Jackets to 42 in the Trojans non-league victory on Friday.
The Trojans now sport a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jacksonville for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 10. Carrollton will battle a Golden Eagles team coming off a 53-50 non-league loss to Plainview (Rainsville, AL). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 0-2.
The Yellow Jackets (3-7) will now prepare for their contest against Hiram (Hiram, GA). The Hornets come into the non-league contest with a 7-1 record. In their last contest, Hiram edged Carrollton (Carrollton, GA), 62-57, in a non-league contest.
