December 9, 2022: Corbin, KY 40701 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Corbin Redhounds (Corbin, KY) and the visiting York Institute Dragons (Jamestown, TN), saw Corbin's basketball squad overcome York Institute by a tally of 81-65.
With the victory, Corbin improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Redhounds host Middlesboro (Middlesboro, KY) to confront the Yellowjackets in a non-league challenge on Monday, December 12. The Yellowjackets come into the challenge with a record of 0-2. Middlesboro lost 66-51 in their recent non-league challenge against Barbourville (Barbourville, KY)
Next up, the Dragons confront the Cookeville Cavaliers (Cookeville, TN) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 13. York Institute will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record. The Cavaliers come into the challenge with a 3-2 record after their 81-75 non-league win over Stone Memorial (Crossville, TN).
