Mississippi High School Basketball - Provine can't hold off Cordova
December 9, 2022: Jackson, MS 39209 The Cordova Wolves basketball team scored 51 points and restricted the host Provine Rams to 50 in the Wolves non-league victory on Friday.
The Wolves now sport a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Collierville for a 4A District 15 contest on Tuesday, December 13. Cordova will battle a Dragons team coming off a 62-51 non-league win over Beebe (Beebe, AR). The Dragons record now stands at 7-2.
The Rams (5-3) will now prepare for their contest against Velma Jackson (Camden, MS). The Falcons come into the non-league contest with a 4-7 record. In their last contest, Velma Jackson was nudged by Canton (Canton, MS), 64-34, in a non-league contest.
