In Friday's non-league outing, the Deer Lakes Lancers (Russellton, PA) basketball squad beat the visiting Yough Cougars (Herminie, PA), by a count of 60-43.

The Lancers (2-1) will now prepare for their outing against Hampton (Allison Park, PA). The Talbots go into the non-league outing with a 2-0 record. In their last outing, Hampton defeated North Hills (Pittsburgh, PA), 76-74, in a non-league outing.
