Massachusetts High School Basketball - East Longmeadow knocked off by Longmeadow
December 9, 2022: East Longmeadow, MA 01028 The Longmeadow Lancers basketball team scored 49 points and held the host East Longmeadow Spartans to 33 in the Lancers league triumph on Friday.
The Lancers now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Putnam Vo-Tech for a Valley contest on Monday, December 12. Longmeadow will battle a Beavers team coming off a 71-48 non-league win over Agawam (Agawam, MA). The Beavers record now stands at 1-0.
The Spartans (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Agawam (Agawam, MA). The Brownies enter the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Agawam was defeated by Putnam Vo-Tech (Springfield, MA), 71-48, in a non-league contest.
