Wisconsin High School Basketball - Edgar tops Prentice
December 9, 2022: Edgar, WI 54426 Edgar Wildcats (Edgar, WI) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Prentice Buccaneers (Prentice, WI), 56-43 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Edgar upgrades its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Marathon (Marathon, WI) to play the Red Raiders in a Marawood - South bout on Tuesday, December 13. The Red Raiders come into the bout with a record of 4-0. Marathon won 80-51 in their recent non-league bout against Rib Lake (Rib Lake, WI)
Next up, the Buccaneers play the Phillips Loggers (Phillips, WI) in a Marawood - North bout, on Tuesday, December 13. Prentice will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Loggers come into the bout with a 1-3 record after their 62-36 non-league loss to Auburndale (Auburndale, WI).
