In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Ferris Yellowjackets basketball team scored a tight 54-49 triumph over the Pottsboro Cardinals.

In their next game, the Yellowjackets meet the Sanger Indians (Sanger, TX) in a non-league match, on Saturday, December 10. Ferris will attempt to better on its 10-5 season record. The Indians enter the match with a 9-6 record after their 56-51 non-league win over Quitman (Quitman, TX).
