The Nocona Indians basketball team scored 45 points and restricted the visiting Honey Grove Warriors to 40 in the Indians non-league victory on Friday.

The Indians now sport a 5-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tom Bean for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 10. Nocona will battle a Tomcats team coming off a 66-34 non-league loss to Callisburg (Gainesville, TX). The Tomcats record now stands at 5-6.

The Warriors (6-4) will now prepare for their contest against Bells (Bells, TX). The Panthers come into the non-league contest with a 6-1 record. In their last contest, Bells edged Tom Bean (Tom Bean, TX), 58-41, in a non-league contest.
