Georgia High School Basketball - Johnson County overwhelmed by Jenkins County
December 9, 2022: Millen, GA 30442 The Jenkins County War Eagles basketball team scored 71 points and restricted the visiting Johnson County Trojans to 33 in the War Eagles non-league victory on Friday.
The War Eagles now sport a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Screven County for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 10. Jenkins County will battle a Gamecocks team coming off a 43-40 league win over Claxton (Claxton, GA). The Gamecocks record now stands at 3-3.
The Trojans (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Warren County (Warrenton, GA). The Screaming Devils come into the non-league contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Warren County triumphed over Glenn Hills (Augusta, GA), 57-49, in a non-league contest.
