Oklahoma High School Basketball - Purcell nips Madill
December 9, 2022: Madill, OK 73446 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Purcell Dragons (Purcell, OK) and the host Madill Wildcats (Madill, OK), saw Purcell's basketball squad hold off Madill by a count of 41-37.
With the victory, Purcell upgrades its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Dragons travel to Pauls Valley (Pauls Valley, OK) to play the Panthers in a Canadian Valley challenge on Tuesday, December 13. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 0-2.
Next up, the Wildcats play the Durant Lions (Durant, OK) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 10. Madill will attempt to upgrade on its 3-1 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 71-65 non-league win over Plainview (Ardmore, OK).
