The Marshall Rams (San Antonio, TX) basketball nipped the host United Longhorns (Laredo, TX), 66-64 in Friday's non-league test.

The Rams (10-8) will now prepare for their test against Clark (San Antonio, TX). The Cougars go into the 6A Region IV District 28 test with a 4-12 record. In their last test, Clark was tipped by Brennan (San Antonio, TX), 58-41, in a non-league test.
