Penelope Wolverines (Penelope, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Mount Calm (Mount Calm, TX), 49-41 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Penelope upgrades its record to 4-6 on the season. The Wolverines travel to Aquilla (Aquilla, TX) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 10. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 2-7. Aquilla lost 40-30 in their recent non-league bout against Avalon (Avalon, TX)
