Rio Americano Raiders (Sacramento, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Nevada Union Miners (Grass Valley, CA), 52-31 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Rio Americano upgrades its record to 6-0 on the season. The Raiders travel to Jesuit (Carmichael, CA) to play the Marauders in a non-league bout on Friday, December 16. The Marauders go into the bout with a record of 5-1. Jesuit lost 74-65 in their recent non-league bout against Archbishop Mitty (San Jose, CA)

Next up, the Miners play the Stevenson Pirates (Pebble Beach, CA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 10. Nevada Union will attempt to upgrade on its 5-4 season record.
