California High School Basketball - Pershing County nudges Sacramento Country Day

In Friday's non-league outing, the Pershing County Mustangs (Lovelock, NV) basketball squad nipped the host Sacramento Country Day Cavaliers (Sacramento, CA), by a margin of 54-50.

The Mustangs (3-5) will now prepare for their outing against Westwood (Westwood, CA). The Lumberjacks go into the non-league outing with a 1-4 record. In their last outing, Westwood got by Whittell (Zephyr Cove, NV), 54-37, in a non-league outing.

The Cavaliers now own a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to Yerington for a non-league outing on Saturday, December 10. Sacramento Country Day will clash with a Lions squad coming off a 66-38 non-league loss to Churchill County (Fallon, NV). The Lions record now stands at 2-5.
