Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Sanger Indians (Sanger, TX) and the host Quitman Bulldogs (Quitman, TX), saw Sanger's basketball squad hold off Quitman by a count of 56-51.

With the victory, Sanger upgrades its record to 9-6 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Ferris (Ferris, TX) to play the Yellowjackets in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 10. The Yellowjackets come into the challenge with a record of 10-5. Ferris won 54-49 in their recent non-league challenge against Pottsboro (Pottsboro, TX)
