In Friday's non-league outing, the Vista Ridge Rangers (Cedar Park, TX) basketball squad edged the host South San Antonio Bobcats (San Antonio, TX), by a count of 31-27.

The Rangers (8-6) will now prepare for their outing against Palmview (La Joya, TX). The Lobos go into the non-league outing with a 12-5 record. In their last outing, Palmview held off Gregory-Portland (Portland, TX), 57-53, in a non-league outing.
