The South Sioux City Cardinals (South Sioux City, NE) basketball knocked off the host Vermillion Tanagers (Vermillion, SD), 62-50 in Friday's non-league test.

The Cardinals (1-0) will now prepare for their test against Sioux City East (Sioux City, IA). The Black Raiders go into the non-league test with a 3-0 record. In their last test, Sioux City East notched a victory over Sioux City West (Sioux City, IA), 78-48, in a league test.
