California High School Basketball - Watsonville overwhelms Summit Denali
December 9, 2022: Sunnyvale, CA 94086 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Watsonville Wildcatz (Watsonville, CA) and the host Summit Denali Grizzlies (Sunnyvale, CA), saw Watsonville's basketball squad wallop Summit Denali by a tally of 65-30.
With the victory, Watsonville improves its record to 2-5 on the campaign. The Wildcatz travel to Marina (Marina, CA) to confront the Mariners in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 10. The Mariners come into the challenge with a record of 4-0. Marina won 68-24 in their recent non-league challenge against Ceiba College Preparatory Academy (Watsonville, CA)
Next up, the Grizzlies confront the Casa Grande Gauchos (Petaluma, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 15. Summit Denali will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Gauchos come into the challenge with a 2-3 record after their 76-48 non-league loss to Miramonte (Orinda, CA).
