Kansas High School Basketball - Augusta fells Abilene
December 9, 2022: Augusta, KS 67010 Augusta Orioles (Augusta, KS) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Abilene Cowboys (Abilene, KS), 38-25 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Augusta upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Orioles travel to Circle (Towanda, KS) to play the Thunderbirds in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 13. The Thunderbirds go into the bout with a record of 2-2. Circle won 46-30 in their recent non-league bout against Labette County (Altamont, KS)
Next up, the Cowboys play the Southeast of Saline Trojans (Gypsum, KS) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 13. Abilene will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Trojans go into the bout with a 3-0 record after their 59-29 non-league win over Beloit (Beloit, KS).
