Woodson Cowboys (Woodson, TX) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Baird Bears (Baird, TX), 29-12 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Woodson upgrades its record to 1-3 on the campaign. The Cowboys host Graford (Graford, TX) to play the Rabbits in a 1A Region III District 21 bout on Friday, December 16. The Rabbits come into the bout with a record of 9-5.

Next up, the Bears play the Rochelle Hornets (Rochelle, TX) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 16. Baird will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record.
