South Dakota High School Basketball - Britton-Hecla nips Tiospa Zina
December 9, 2022: Britton, SD 57430 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Britton-Hecla Braves (Britton, SD) and the visiting Tiospa Zina Wambdi (Agency Village, SD), saw Britton-Hecla's basketball squad hold off Tiospa Zina by a count of 42-40.
With the victory, Britton-Hecla upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Braves travel to Northwestern Area (Mellette, SD) to play the Wildcats in a B Region 1 challenge on Monday, December 12. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
Next up, the Wambdi play the Oelrichs Tigers (Oelrichs, SD) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, December 14. Tiospa Zina will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 60-27 league win over Crazy Horse (Wanblee, SD).
