California High School Basketball - Corona knocked off by Canyon Springs

The Canyon Springs Cougars basketball team scored 49 points and held the host Corona Panthers to 34 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Friday.

The Cougars now sport a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Valley for a non-league contest on Monday, December 12. Canyon Springs will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 52-17 non-league win over La Sierra (Riverside, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 4-0.

The Panthers (4-4) will now prepare for their contest against Lakeside (Lake Elsinore, CA). The Lancers enter the non-league contest with a 6-3 record. In their last contest, Lakeside ran past Linfield Christian (Temecula, CA), 44-29, in a non-league contest.
