The Columbia Central Lions basketball team scored 51 points and restricted the host LaVergne Wolverines to 25 in the Lions non-league victory on Friday.

The Lions now sport a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Blackman for a non-league contest on Monday, December 12. Columbia Central will battle a Blaze team coming off a 48-47 non-league loss to Coffee County Central (Manchester, TN). The Blaze record now stands at 7-1.
