December 9, 2022: Newport, NH 03773 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Concord Christian (Concord, NH) and the host Newport Tigers (Newport, NH), saw Concord Christian's basketball squad wallop Newport by a tally of 71-21.
With the victory, Concord Christian improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The host Hillsboro-Deering (Hillsboro, NH) to confront the Hillcats in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, December 14. The Hillcats come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
Next up, the Tigers confront the Mascoma Royals (Canaan, NH) in a Division III challenge, on Tuesday, December 13. Newport will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Royals come into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 62-46 league loss to Monadnock (East Swanzey, NH).
